Florida is one of the most beautiful states in our great country, and there are plenty of great things to do in the communities surrounding our dealership, whether you’re just looking to soak up the sun or do any number of other things.
Since we’re so passionate about all that Tampa, Sarasota, and the surrounding communities have to offer in terms of fun things to do, we’ll be putting featured posts of some of our favorites on our blog. From our favorite sporting venues, to roadside attractions, to restaurants, to cultural institutions — we intend to spotlight some of the community’s finest offerings. We want you to be as passionate about our community as we are, and what better way to do that than by pointing out some of our favorite destinations?

There’s no need to drive to Orlando when we’ve got Busch Gardens right here in Tampa. The African-themed amusement park features fun rides, beautiful gardens, and exotic animals. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, Busch Gardens is a great way to spend a day in Tampa.
George M. Steinbrenner Field
Each year, the New York Yankees head down to Tampa for spring training. The George M. Steinbrenner Field gives residents plenty of opportunities to see this legendary baseball team in action and even meet with current and past Yankee players. Steinbrenner Field also hosts the Tampa Yankees minor league team and a number of concerts and events throughout the year.
Lettuce Lake Park
This 240-acre public park opened back in 1982 and has been a hit with nature fans ever since. The park is notable for its winding boardwalks that take visitors through many of Florida’s natural ecosystems from a fresh water wetland to a hardwood forest filled with majestic oak trees.
Museum of Science & Industry
Tampa’s Museum of Science & Industry is a fun way to explore science and technology. Attractions include a trip through the human body, the SkyTrail rope course with a zip line, the Saunders planetarium, and the IMAX Dome. It’s one of the best places to take curious kids.
Tampa Bay History Center
Central Florida has a rich history and has played a major part in the development of our great country. Learn more about Tampa and Florida at the Tampa Bay History Center. They have a number of fascinating permanent exhibits and temporary collections to explore.
Art Center Sarasota
For when you need a cultural fix, visit Art Center Sarasota. They keep a permanent collection and rotating selection of art from local, national, and worldwide artists. Art Center Sarasota is also known for giving opportunities to young artists to create through their Black Box Projects.
Asolo Repertory Theatre
This regional theatre and acting conservatory features a mix of classics, new productions, and commissioned works. The Sarasota Ballet also holds court here. Who says you have to go to Broadway for great plays?
John & Mabel Ringling used to take their legendary circus to Sarasota during the winter months. The goal of the Ringling is to preserve their legacy. Across 66 acres, the Ringling houses the State Art Museum of Florida, a historic mansion, circus museum, historic theater, and much more.
Sarasota Classic Car Museum
As people who make cars our living, one of our favorite Sarasota places to visit is the Sarasota Classic Car Museum. The second oldest antique car museum in the country has more than 100 vehicles on display, including cars owned by the Beatles!
Save Our Seabirds
Save Our Seabirds is a rescue and rehabilitation facility in Sarasota that is open to the public. In addition to educating visitors about seabirds, Save Our Seabirds also permanently cares for birds that cannot be released back into the wild. This “living museum” gives you an opportunity to witness the diversification of our state’s birds in a beautiful, natural area.
