Mazda has been keeping the details of the new Mazdaspeed3 under wraps, but sources tell us to expect that the new model will see an increase in horsepower that should put it close to 300-hp. This is thanks to the turbocharged 2.5L 4-cylinder SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGIES engine and 6-speed automatic transmission combination. The new model is also said to be gaining an AWD drivetrain, which is sure to enhance handling and stability and improve the overall performance of the sporty compact.
