What Are In-Transit Vehicles?

2022 Mazda MX-30 Driving on the Street

What does in transit mean for a car dealership? A vehicle that is in transit to Sarasota is simply a model that’s been officially manufactured at the factory and is in the process of being shipped to the dealership.

With the chip shortage still in effect, there’s an automotive production crisis that makes it hard for Tampa drivers to find the vehicles they’re looking for with all the specifications they want. This means that if your heart is set on a particular model with unique specs, you’ll probably need to order your car from the factory through Cox Mazda in Bradenton, in which case, you’ll need to learn all about in-transit vehicles! Take a moment to learn about how to track in-transit vehicles, how to order an in-transit vehicle, and more. Then, if you have questions, contact us!
