With the success off the 2016 Mazda CX-9, it’s no surprise that drivers of Tampa and Sarasota are excited for the new 2017 Mazda CX-9 release date. This crossover has received some great updates. When Will It Release?

While there is not yet an official release date announced yet, we anticipate the arrival of the 2017 Mazda CX-9 to be in early 2017. We’ll be among the first to have it hit the lot, so make sure you come in for a test drive when we have the update.

How Much is It Expected to Cost?

There has been a slight increase in price of the new 2017 Mazda CX-9, with the base model starting at an affordable rate:

  • 2017 Mazda CX-9 Sport: $31,520 MSRP
  • 2017 Mazda CX-9 Touring: $35,970 MSRP
  • 2017 Mazda CX-9: $40,170 MSRP
  • 2017 Mazda CX-9: $44,015 MSRP

What Changes Can You Expect?

The new model features a new engine. A 2.5L 4-cylinder SKYACTIV®-G engine generates up to 250 hp and 310 lb.-ft. of torque with the option of FWD or AWD. The safety package now including Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Control, Smart City Brake Support, Forward Obstruction Warning, and Distance Recognition Support. The front grille is now bigger and bolder as are the headlamps. Inside you’ll notice a quieter cabin thanks to more sound deadening materials in its design, and a 7-inch or 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display helps keep you connected on the go.
